By the end of the first day, I had to rearrange my stall due to the vast amount of models I had sold!
I had about 1/3 of my table vacant! But this actually turned out for the better in the end because I could then have some Julip model horses on show... Not my own, but I was selling them on behalf of Model Horse Love, as a result of a competition that was run over the Summer months.
If you want to order a Songbird, they are in hand and ready to ship! They are priced at £55 excluding postage. Just get in touch with me if you do want one.
On the Saturday, I had my second and final talk of the three day festival; how to put mohair onto your model horse. I had the video camera set up to show what I was doing with my hands which was fantastic although it was quite blurry, so I don't know how much people saw... And whenever I start out hairing a model, it never looks its best! But the model in question turned out ok...
This model is priced at £30 including UK postage. And again, if you want him then please contact me. I finished him while sitting at my stall over Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Over the afternoon on Saturday I also created this little diorama, because why not?!
It is currently sitting in my cabinet! It was great fun to do and the different activities were such fun, I also did a little bit of sculpting and got very messy hands!
This is the final post of the blog series, I don't have any photos to share of the third day and I was only there until just after lunchtime.
