I thought I was perhaps ready for a waste mould and casting of my Icelandic horse sculpture a month or so ago, but I kept fiddling with him and realised I wasn't. Now, however, I can definitely only progress in resin form, where I can ensure his feet on the ground are perfect for standing and balance, I can finish off his tail, and I can smooth him down and add final details.
He stands on his own at the moment which is brilliant. I need to secure him to this base that I have, and add some vents and sprues, and then I can get on with making the mould. Exciting!
