He is finished and ready to pre-order!

I am so excited to be saying this!

Störm is a traditional scale Icelandic Horse gelding (measuring approximately 20cm x 18cm) and is in scale with the breed, which stands around 13hh. Störm is not practicing the traditional Icelandic gait, the tölt: instead, he is prancing around in a high-action trot, typical of the breed with his large forehead, straight-faced profile, with a short but powerful body structure and a full thick mane and tail. If this isn't an accurate representation of the Icelandic breed, then I don't know what is!

Some photos...

Details on how to pre-order him can be found on this webpage here...

Thank you all!

So Close!

My Icelandic, Störm, is just some fine sanding away from being fully completed. I can't wait! I will do a bit of work on him this morning and once I hear back from the casters about a quote I will offer him up for pre-ordering. I took these two (rubbish) photos last night, just after another coating of primer, and I just got so excited!

Once he is properly finished I will also take some professional photos with my camera, and not my phone. I feel that my phone camera distorts him somewhat, and doesn't show what he truly looks like!

Not the best photo, but...

My Icelandic sculpture is nearly finished! I will take better, professional photos once he is all done and ready to be offered to the public.

I have also measured Störm, he is approximately 20cm by 18cm. So, although Traditional scale, he is a small little pony! I just have a few little things to finish off and then he will be done. I can't wait!
